Drawing from digital culture movements and resistance practices, Queer Virality centers queer womxn, femmes and gender nonconforming artists of color, and the ways in which they heal, resist, create space, and transcend the realms of opposition. In naming queer into the viral, the mainstream, this exhibit proposes critical interventions into the binary logics of race, gender, sexuality, and more broadly, the social confines of our known reality.
